Date of first appearance of coronal hole in EUV at east limb: 2025-11-25
Note: Signature characterized by the gradual increase in B total from already elevated 9nT at 2025-12-03T10Z to over 17 nT by 2025-12-03T16Z, with solar wind speeds gradually increasing from 360 km/s to 510 km/s and ion temperature and density also increasing in the same timeframe. There are stark fluctuations of magnetic field components, with Bz momentarily dipping to as low as -13nT. This signature is preceded by the likely CIR signature, starting around 2025-12-03T02:45Z. This coronal hole high speed stream is likely caused by the large northern latitude coronal hole that reached the central meridian on 2025-11-30.
